Dear students, friends of AIMS, and general public,

I am honoured and grateful to the AIMS Foundation for their continued confidence in me as Co-Artistic Director of the Wind Academy. A role I accepted years ago in the hope of helping the entire AIMS community – students, professionals, audiences – to enjoy an authentic and inspiring musical and human experience.

Making music is a team effort, and at AIMS we have an organisation that facilitates the daily lives of both the students and the sensational faculty of guest artists. As a result, coming to AIMS is a unique experience: with a 23-year history, the Festival has an enthusiastic audience that supports our musicians in all the concerts programmed, both in Solsona and throughout the beautiful region and its surroundings.

For musicians, summer is a time of exchange and openness. AIMS invites you to study at the highest possible level and to live your main passion in a relaxed and truly international environment.

I encourage you to join us in 2024 and hope that the lessons, the rehearsals, the concerts and the shared moments will be unforgettable. I don’t want anyone to miss this opportunity: places are limited and time is flying. Sign up, send us a good recording… and secure your place at AIMS now!

See you soon! See you in Solsona!

José Luis Estellés
Artistic Co-Director of the AIMS Wind Academy

AIMS is like a big music family. It is very intense, with lots of fun and chances to present yourself. Once you get there, you wanna come back every summer.

One of the most intense days, busy and super fun with the best group of boys and teachers. I cannot recommend it enough because it fascinated me.
