Bogdan Zvoristeanu started to play the violin with his father at the age of 6. He continued his studies with Stefan Gheorghiu at the Music Academy in Bucharest. In 1993 he obtained a scholarship at the respected "International Menuhin Music Academy" (IMMA) Gstaad/Blonay where he perfected his playing with Maestro Alberto Lysy.

His high artistic value was recognized worldwide. Bogdan Zvoristeanu is a prize winner of major international violin competitions such as "Tibor Varga" in Sion, "Leopold Mozart" in Augsburg, "George Enescu" in Bucharest, the "Concours International de Genève", "Pierre Lantier" in Paris and various others.

His deep musical understanding and his technical abilities form a harmonious harmony.
As a performer on international stages Bogdan Zvoristeanu is appreciated as a soloist and a chamber musician. He collaborated with great artists such as Igor Oistrach, Tibor Varga, Radu Aldulescu, Jian Wang und José Gallardo. As a soloist he has performed with well known conductors like Sir Yehudi Menuhin, Andrey Boreyko, Pinchas Steinberg, Marek Janowski, Jin Wang, Fabio Luisi und Gilbert Varga.

In 1999 Bogdan Zvoristeanu got offered a teaching post for Violin and Chamber music at the "International Menuhin Music Academy". He was giving master classes in Germany, Austria, Romania, Argentina, China and South Korea.
As a jury member he was invited to numerous international violin competitions.

Since 2002 Bogdan Zvoristeanu occupies the position of the First Concertmaster of the "Orchestre de la Suisse Romande" Geneva, Switzerland.

In 2008 he recorded the Integral of the Sonatas and Partitas for Violin Solo by J. S. Bach with "Dinemec Classics".

Bogdan Zvoristeanu plays a violin by Nicolaus Gagliano dated 1761, lent graciously by the Müller/Aebi family, who are the instigators and main donors of the Paul Klee centre in Bern.
